How Much Does Wood Engraving Cost?

We charge £59.95 per rail for engraving directly into the wood. You have the flexibility to split your text over two lines. Most of our Memorial Benches feature both a top rail and a lower rail, offering ample space to personalise your bench further.

To add a pre-designed image from our collection, it costs £19.95. Your Simple Line Drawing / Silhouette: If you have a simple line drawing or silhouette (similar in complexity to our online library images) that you'd like to use, this service costs an additional £9.95 (total £29.90).

Your Bespoke / Complex Image

For a more intricate or custom image, the cost is £49.95. Rest assured, if there are any additional costs or any concerns regarding your artwork, we will always contact you before proceeding with any engraving.

How Many Characters Can Be Engraved?

The amount of text that can be engraved depends on the size of your chosen bench. The larger the bench, the more characters you can fit. Each bench is automatically allocated a maximum number of characters to ensure the best fit and appearance. You will be able to preview your text during the personalisation stage. If, for any reason, your text exceeds the recommended allowance, please do not hesitate to contact our office for advice.

Can I Have Different Sized Lines of Text?

Yes, absolutely. If you wish for one line of your text to be larger than another, you can specify this. Once you have finished personalising your bench, simply leave details of any formatting requests in the box titled: 'Additional notes regarding your personalisation'.
